Epidote

Lava-heated water seeping through massive deposits of feldspar and quartz causes disruption at the molecular level. Some elements are washed away and some are transformed, leaving behind the makings of intricate, delicate crystals called epidote. Columns of epidote often occur in clusters. While the surface of the crystal is green, ranging from bright pistachio to nearly black, viewing from a different angle reveals earthy secondary shades of green, brown, or sometimes yellow.

In life’s challenging circumstances, epidote urges a personal metamorphosis. Its positive energy pushes out stagnant negativity and dispels self-doubt. Epidote encourages the realistic assessment of one’s own strengths and weaknesses and the ability to set goals accordingly. Use this stone for a change in perspective and to gain forward momentum.
