Naturally formed geological structures typically from China, they are known for resembling chrysanthemum flowers. White pedal like flowers against a darker background matrix. They are sought after and have been collected for centuries. Used in carvings, jewelry and decretive objects. Mines are now flooded by the three Gorges dam, now very hard to find quality chrysanthemums.
