Barite

Typically colorless or white but can be blue, brown, gray, or yellow. Found in Mexico, Morocco and Algeria. Typically in high demand. Can be a mineral or a semi-precious gemstone. Barite comes from the greek word "Barys" or "Heavy". Kazakstan, China, Morocco and Russia are common sources.
