Amber

Amber is an organic gem made up of fossilized resin principally from extinct coniferous trees. Ancient Greeks called it called it electron, meaning “sun-gold,” for its ability to acquire an electric charge when rubbed. Amber has been widely traded since ancient times with beads from 2000 B.C. found in Crete. It has long symbolized success and divinity. Catherine the Great of Russia had an entire room built of amber in her palace. It was pillaged by the Nazis but has since been restored.

Amber helps people get in touch with their own essential strength and security.
